Such a warm and welcoming place! The manager is incredibly sweet and helpful, which made my visit even more enjoyable. The environment is cozy, and the Tom Yum and Egg Tart were both delicious. Definitely coming back!

Place is stuffy and hot and it is really uncomfortable to dine in. Even an outdoor env could be better. Foot is pretty average and cost of all items not cheap for an oriental cafe. Otah is not bad though. Short wait, some items out of stock.

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant, and I’d like to share some feedback. The food was quite tasty, and the service was attentive. I appreciated the cleanliness of the establishment as well. My visit was around 4 PM, which was a good time since it wasn't too crowded, and there were still 2-3 tables available. My meal arrived in less than 15 minutes, which was impressive. I initially wanted to order the mee siam, but when I learned it was sold out, the staff kindly suggested the nasi lemak as an alternative. I ended up enjoying it. I also noticed that some customers ordered cake, and it looked delightful. I plan to save room for dessert on my next visit. For anyone looking for directions, the restaurant is conveniently located on the same level as Mr. DIY, right next to Daison. Just a heads-up that KSL tends to be busy on weekends, but there are often great discounts available!

We were delighted to find that this restaurant also offers vegetarian options. Initially, we were a bit skeptical since it might not be their specialty—but we were proven wrong! We ordered the Vegetarian Fried Noodles and the Olive Fried Rice, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. The olive fried rice, in particular, was a standout—the best I’ve ever had, even better than those in Singapore! Generous amounts of cashew nuts added a lovely crunch, and the flavour, along with the unmistakable wok hei, really elevated the dish. The fried noodles came packed with ingredients and were very satisfying, although the gravy leaned slightly on the salty side for our taste. Service was also prompt and friendly, adding to the pleasant dining experience. We’ll definitely be back to try their non-vegetarian dishes next time. A hidden gem worth revisiting! 25.06.25

1)Ho kar sai is kooi with Milo Incase some dun know. It’s little bit bitter cause of kopi and the sweetness came from Milo. Nice drink. 2)Kaya butter toast. Normal white bread. Kaya pretty avg to me. But butter they use is quite nice. 3)Chee cheong fun very avg. sweet sauce too diluted. Kway also not thin and smooth enough. 4)Rendang mutton Nasi lemak. Very nice rendang mutton, the type I like. Goes very well with rice. Mutton is nicely taken care of to remove the gamey smell. Most of the meat is soft. Rice is lightly lemak and salted. A bit too bland for my liking but lucky the rendang goes well with it. Sambal not too much. Strong in spice but not spicy. Can taste bits of dried shrimp. Ikan bilis is crispy and nicely salted. Would prefer it to be slightly bigger. One plus is the egg is nicely fried. Overall an enjoyable meal.

Ordered Laksa Curry and Penang prawn noodles. The curry is super salty and strong curry taste. Feel disappointed. The prawn noodles is fine, general can be found from other store. Overall I prices doesn't match with food quality. However, the staff is very friendly and good services.

Place was abit hot and would encourage the owner to consider buying standing fans to cool the restaurant. Food wise, was average. The noodles in the prawn mee is not the regular yellow mee but yet thicker than mee kia. The ondeh lava cake was bit dry. They are quite generous with the shredded coconut toppings though. Fren had the mutton which she said was bit dry/tough. Service was fast.

Tom Yam soup tastes diluted, kaya toast can't taste the butter, Roasted Chicken tastes dry, even the onion soup that came with the roasted chicken is quite tasteless. The ondeh ondeh cheese cake and white coffee is decent though. Overall, i am a bit disappointed.
